MATERIAL OPTIONS
We offer two main fascia and soffit options depending on the condition of the existing structure:
New Timber Fascias and Soffits
For customers who prefer a traditional look, we replace old timber fascia and soffit boards with new, high-quality treated timber. These can be left natural or painted to suit the property’s style. Timber gives a classic finish and, with proper care, provides many years of reliable performance.
uPVC Cappit Fascias and Soffits
When the existing fascia boards remain in generally good condition or only require minor repair, we can install cappit fascia and soffit systems. These fit directly over the original timber to create a clean, low-maintenance finish without the need for full replacement.
If any part of the existing timber structure is damaged, we carry out repairs first to provide a solid foundation before fitting the cappit system. This ensures the new covering is properly supported, securely fixed, and able to perform as intended for years to come.
All installations are completed using quality fixings, matching trims and accurate sealing for a consistent, professional finish.
IMPORTANCE OF VENTILATION
Good ventilation is vital for preventing condensation and damp in the roof space. We install ventilated soffit boards or discreet over-fascia vents where required, helping airflow circulate through the roof structure and ensuring compliance with BS 5250 ventilation standards.
